As Alchimie's Founder and Executive Chair, Andrew is a strategic advisor and consultant of considerable experience and reputation in Australia. Andrew has been at the innovative edge of major and mega projects and of crystalizing collective leadership of major organisations, through periods of major change or growth. Andrew supports strategic client partners to mobilise and govern mega projects, to lead strategic and business planning, and to execute strategy and change in organisations. Andrew provides unique perspectives and strategic advice to Executives and Boards to mobilise their organisations and achieve the futures they want.
James Kelly

James Kelly

Managing Director

James brings an extensive industry track record in working with leaders and leadership teams to produce superior results. James has also led organisation-wide change initiatives from within large corporations. James works with leaders and managers in projects and organisations to support them to achieve their business results, develop their people and develop aligned highly committed teams. James’ focus is on the people aspect of organisational performance and generating authentic commitment in leadership and management teams to achieve breakthrough results.

Dawn Beesley

Dawn Beesley is an experienced executive coach who specialises in change leadership and transformation. Dawn helps individuals, teams and organisations uncover what is getting in the way of their best performance and to identify strategies for successfully removing these obstacles. Dawn’s clients grow their confidence, courage, and ability to have powerful conversations with people at all levels, enabling them to effectively deal with the unexpected and often challenging situations that arise in the course of their work. Clients who work with Dawn discover and explore insights and actions that lead to improved outcomes.

David Capps

David Capps is a seasoned leader adept at building and guiding high-performing teams to successfully tender, develop, and deliver major projects with precision and certainty for clients. Thriving in collaborative environments, he leverages excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills to drive project outcomes.

Andrew Stevenson

Principal

Andrew has over 25 years’ industry experience and has led numerous project teams that have delivered over $1B of infrastructure below budget and ahead of time. Andrew knows what it takes to deliver exceptional projects that exceed client expectations, and how important the procurement is to great program outcomes. Andrew has wonderful insight into the procurement phase of programs and projects and has assisted clients to procure large infrastructure programs and projects over the past decade and led and coached more than 30 proponent teams across Australia and New Zealand.

Mandy Camilleri

Executive Assistant

Mandy manages the Alchimie office and provides executive administration support to all our consultants in service of our clients. Mandy is the first point of call and co-ordinator for many of our clients and does a fantastic job of ensuring all our consultants are in the right place at the right time, with the right materials they need to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Mandy has been with Alchimie for more than 15 years and is valued by the team for the generous support she provides to all.

Warrick Hanby

Senior Consultant

Over Warrick’s lengthy career, and through his varied roles, he has developed a wide skill set including change management, talent management, strategic business partnering, industrial relations, executive coaching, performance management systems and delivered a wide range of training & training systems. Warrick has a passionate belief in challenging thinking and inspiring excellence, helping facilitate strategic and operational clarity, consistency and commitment. He works with people and teams in projects and organisations to co-create pathways for high performance strategy and implementation.

Will Minson

Consultant

Will Minson is a consultant, facilitator, and coach of high performing teams. Will builds relationships quickly with his clients, and leverages this to create strong alignment and connection amongst the teams in which he works to support them in elevating their performance. Having worked across bid winning, procurement, project delivery and organisational strategy within the transport infrastructure sector, Will is well positioned to appreciate the full breadth of challenges and opportunities facing his clients. Drawing on his experiences as a professional footballer in the AFL for over 14 years, Will supports teams in making the performance improvements they are seeking in an engaging and enjoyable way, with attention to detail and discipline.

Gabrielle Tabron

Gabrielle is a coach, facilitator and project management advisor with a 20-year track record in the infrastructure and architectural sectors working with public sector agencies and private sector companies.” From masterplanning to operations & maintenance, her diverse experience offers both big-picture perspectives and detailed planning expertise. Notably, as the Owner Interface Manager for the Kā Huanui a Tāhuna Alliance in Queenstown, Gabrielle played a pivotal role in integrating major project delivery, earning praise from the Alliance Programme Manager, for her leadership and influence at all organisational levels. Recognised as one of New Zealand's outstanding women leaders in 2023, Gabrielle continues her impactful coaching, emphasising lifecycle integration, EDI and ECI processes, and fostering a high-performance culture. Her genuine, caring approach extends from executive coaching to making a life-changing difference in the Otago Big Buddy Programme.

Michael Ward

Senior Consultant

Michael has built expertise in improving businesses and projects, and managing the change. His focus is a behavioural and systems approach to organisational, team and individual coaching and development, leveraging more than 30 years in engineering, project management through the delivery of major projects, and maintenance services. He is an experienced relationship and performance coach and has provided successful coaching and facilitation for a range of organisations and teams. Michael offers strategic and commercial advice and is an experienced facilitator of risk and value engineering for high-performance outcomes.

Grant Fuller

Health, Safety & Wellbeing Principal

Grant is a seasoned leader with over a decade of experience in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) in infrastructure construction, mining, and oil & gas. Passionate about creating mentally healthy workplaces, he co-founded the Wellness in Infrastructure organisation and served on the Mentally Healthy Workplaces Consultative Committee. Grant partners with clients to develop HSW strategies, enhance psychological safety, and support incident responses, committed to advancing industry standards and wellbeing.

Emily Trevaskis

People & Culture Consultant

Emily Trevaskis is a seasoned HR leader with expertise in Construction, Oil and Gas, and the public sector. At Alchimie, she drives people-focused strategies, leadership development, and cultural transformation. As Chairperson for the Working Group for Wellness in Infrastructure, she champions mental health and well-being, ensuring successful project launches and balanced workplace dynamics.

Jim Mantle

Executive Director

Jim Mantle brings to Alchimie over 25 years of professional services, projects and business leadership experience to our clients. Jim has extensive experience in many infrastructure markets, in particular in gaining an understanding of key drivers for the clients in each market, and how these drive the procurement solutions to manage delivery risks. Key markets which form part of Jim’s business portfolios and interest in project delivery procurement / commercial alignment and contractual approaches include building and civil infrastructure, Alliances, Power, Water and Environment, Mining, and Oil and Gas.

Ross Young

Ross Young is an experienced Executive, strategic facilitator, and consultant passionate about making a real impact. With 40 years of experience across diverse sectors including government, water, mining, transport, energy, and IoT, Ross specialises in business strategy, performance, and building high-performing teams. Over the last 15 years, he has focused on "winning work" in competitive environments, complementing his expertise in business strategy, change management, and team leadership. Much of his work has been with Alchimie, supporting them on various projects, and his deep experience spans leadership, strategy, and performance improvement across multiple industries.

Jim Goddard

Jim Goddard is a senior corporate executive and community builder with extensive experience across Engineering, Telecoms, Tech, Sustainable Development, and Energy. He spent over 10 years in executive roles at World Vision International, leading a significant 2030 strategy initiative that transformed a $1bn programme, impacting 15 million people across 54 countries. As an Executive Advisor and Leadership Coach, Jim helps global organisations become more purpose-driven and socially impactful. Earlier in his career, he worked as a civil engineer, leading telecom infrastructure projects for Vodafone and global tech sales for Lucent Technologies. He is also recognised for his social impact efforts.

Chyonne is a consultant, facilitator, coach, and qualified lawyer who is passionate about helping clients to build their capability in leadership, collaboration and resilience. For over 16 years, she has been working with and for organisations across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Chyonne has deep expertise in negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution and spent the first 12 years of her career practicing as a lawyer, accumylating extensive negotiation experience, especially in the context of major infrastructure projects.

Andy Steere is a performance and relationship-driven project advisor and management consultant with a rare diversity of international experience across the military, business, and non-profit sectors. Andy sincerely enjoys both the "hard" (technical, financial and commercial) and the "soft" (leadership, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and governance) aspects of organisations and people.
